User Agreement

1.1 BodhiLeaf is a Buddhist practice assistant application that provides features such as practice recording, Buddhist calendar queries, chanting audio (Brahma Sound Hall), sutra reading (Sutra Library), and practice tools.

1.2 The services provided by this application include but are not limited to:

• Practice recording and management
• Tibetan calendar, lunar calendar, and festival information
• Buddhist calendar details (generated by artificial intelligence)
• Contemplative Journal (user note recording and management)
• Chanting audio playback (Brahma Sound Hall)
• Sutra reading (Sutra Library)
• Data synchronization and backup
• Widget functionality
• Sharing functionality

1.3 We reserve the right to modify, interrupt, or terminate any part or all of the services at any time without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the services.

2.1 You can register an account with a username or phone number, or log in with your Huawei Account or WeChat. You shall provide true, accurate, and complete information and keep it updated.

2.2 You are fully responsible for all activities and events under your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.

2.3 If you discover any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

2.4 We have the right to suspend or terminate your account under the following circumstances:

• Violation of any provision of this agreement
• Providing false registration information
• Engaging in illegal or improper activities
• Not logging in for an extended period

3.1 You agree not to use this application to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the legitimate rights of others
• Distribute illegal, harmful, obscene, or violent content
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the service
• Unauthorized access or attempt to access system data
• Use automated tools (such as robots, crawlers) to access the service
• Transfer or lend your account to others

3.2 You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the content and actions you generate while using this application.

4.1 The Buddhist calendar details in this application are automatically generated by artificial intelligence (large language models) and are for reference only.

4.2 AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or erroneous. You should not consider such content as authoritative or professional advice.

4.3 We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of AI-generated content.

4.4 Any decisions you make based on AI-generated content are at your own risk and responsibility.

5.1 The Contemplative Journal feature allows you to create, edit, save, and share your practice notes. All content you create in the Contemplative Journal (including but not limited to text, images, etc.) is user-generated content (UGC).

5.2 Content Guidelines: You promise that the content you publish in the Contemplative Journal does not contain:

• Content that violates the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China
• Content that endangers national security, leaks state secrets, subverts state power, or undermines national unity
• Content that damages national honor and interests
• Content that incites ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, or undermines ethnic unity
• Content that undermines national religious policies or promotes cults and feudal superstitions
• Content that spreads rumors, disturbs social order, or undermines social stability
• Content that disseminates obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terrorism, or instigates crime
• Content that insults or slanders others or infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of others
• Content containing other content prohibited by laws and administrative regulations

5.3 Intellectual Property: You own the intellectual property rights to the content you create in the Contemplative Journal. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license for the necessary operations to provide our services (such as storage, synchronization, display, etc.).

5.4 Content Moderation: We have the right but not the obligation to review the content you publish. We reserve the right to delete or block any content that violates this agreement or laws and regulations without notice.

5.5 Violation Handling: If the content you publish violates this agreement or laws and regulations, we have the right to take the following measures:

• Delete or block violating content
• Issue a warning
• Restrict or suspend the use of Contemplative Journal features
• Terminate your account

5.6 Content Backup: You should back up important Contemplative Journal content yourself. We do not guarantee permanent storage of content and are not responsible for content loss due to system failures, user operational errors, etc.

5.7 Content Sharing: If you choose to share Contemplative Journal content, you should ensure that the shared content does not infringe on the rights of others and bear the risks of sharing yourself.

6.1 All content of this application, including but not limited to text, images, icons, interface design, code, trademarks, and logos, is owned by the developer or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 Without written authorization, you may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any content of this application
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble this application
• Use this application for commercial purposes
• Remove or modify any copyright notices in this application

6.3 You retain ownership of the content you upload or create through this application. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to provide our services.

7.1 This application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• The continuity, timeliness, and security of the service
• The accuracy and reliability of service results
• Meeting your specific needs

7.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Service interruptions due to force majeure, network failures, system maintenance, etc.
• Data loss or damage caused by improper user operation
• Issues caused by third-party service failures (such as Huawei Account login, WeChat login, cloud storage)
• Issues caused by cyber attacks, virus intrusions, etc.
• Issues caused by device failures or compatibility problems
• Any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages

7.3 Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees (if any) you have paid for this application.

8.1 This application may contain or link to third-party services (such as Huawei Account, WeChat, third-party websites). We are not responsible for any third-party services.

8.2 When using third-party services, you should comply with the terms of service and privacy policies of such third parties.

8.3 The availability, quality, and content of third-party services are not within our control.

9.1 Your data may be stored locally on your device and/or on cloud servers.

9.2 We will make reasonable efforts to protect your data security, but we do not guarantee that data will not be lost or corrupted. You should back up important data yourself.

9.3 Your data may be deleted under the following circumstances:

• You voluntarily cancel your account
• Your account is terminated due to violation of this agreement
• Required by laws and regulations
• Service termination

10.1 We value your privacy protection. For information on how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

10.2 By using this application, you agree that we process your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11.1 We have the right to modify this agreement at any time. The modified agreement will be published in the application.

11.2 Continued use of this application constitutes your acceptance of the modified agreement. If you do not agree with the modified agreement, you should stop using this application.

11.3 We are not obligated to notify each user individually of changes to the agreement.

12.1 The interpretation and enforcement of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of law rules).

12.2 Any dispute arising from this agreement or the use of this application shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation.

12.3 If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent people's court in the jurisdiction where the developer is located.

13.1 If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and other provisions shall remain in effect.

13.2 Our failure to exercise or delay in exercising any right under this agreement does not constitute a waiver of such right.

13.3 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of this application, superseding any prior oral or written agreements.
